Salary: $75k-$90k

Skills - Must Have:
  • CPA designation or completion of CFE 
  • 2+ years of public practice experience, ideally in mid-to-large sized firms 
  • Strong audit and review engagement experience 
  • Solid understanding of ASPE and Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS) 
  • Experience preparing financial statements, working papers, and tax returns 
  • Proficiency with CaseWare, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office Suite

Requirements

  •  A minimum of 2 years of experience in public practice accounting including: audit experience, review experience, preparation experience and some compilation experience
  • CPA Designation or have written the CFE
  • BComm/BBA in Accounting or equivalent
  • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in CaseWare, Tax Prep and MS Office
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Spanish would also be an asset
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a talent to develop positive rapport and convey concepts and services to clients
  • Be detailed oriented and have strong analytical skills with both numbers and concepts
  • Strong understanding of assurance and accounting standards

  • Interact directly with clients and partners on various engagements
  • Analyze and review financial information
  • Act as a senior on assurance teams to perform audit and review engagements
  • Provide leadership to First Year and Second Year CPA Students in the office and on client site
