SALARY: $100k - $120k CAD

Skills - Must Have:
  • CPA designation
  • Minimum 4 years of public practice accounting experience
  • Minimum 1 year in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Strong audit and review engagement experience
  • Proficiency in CaseWare, TaxPrep

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in public practice accounting including: audit experience, review experience, preparation experience and some compilation experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within public practice
  • BComm/BBA in Accounting or equivalent
  • CPA Designation (must have)
  • Proficient in CaseWare, Tax Prep and MS Office
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Spanish would also be an asset
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a talent to develop positive rapport and convey concepts and services to clients
  • Be detailed oriented and have strong analytical skills with both numbers and concepts
  • Strong understanding of assurance and accounting standards

Responsibilities

  • Interact directly with clients and partners on various engagements
  • Analyze and review financial information
  • Act as a manager on assurance teams to lead audit and review engagements
  • Provide leadership to assurance teams including Senior Accountants and CPA Students in the office and on client sites
  • Oversee engagement execution and ensure adherence to budgets and deadlines
  • Contribute to staff training and process improvements
